Either way is fine.   We are happy to share past retreat agendas to get you started, but we'd encourage you to ask, "what's most important" for you.  LeaderGov will work with you to develop an agenda that fits your unique needs and situation. 

We've facilitated a lot of retreats and group collaboration meetings, so we can offer a lot of ideas on format.   The format may include ongoing collaboration, long or short breaks, time for relationship building, creative time and time for unexpected topics.   LeaderGov will work with you to develop a format that works for your unique team. 

We facilitate staff retreats and Council retreats and a combination of the two sets of stakeholders.  

We engage elected officials similarly to staff in that we encourage strong collaboration, development of unity and clear goals, servant leadership, authentic conversation and relationship building.  We often implement the DiSC personality assessment at our retreats, so elected officials can see how their styles mix or may not mix well with others' styles.

Lastly, we help elected officials build strong commitment even though they all may not agree 100% on each decision.  

It depends on the number of days and whether it's live via Zoom or in-person.  Prices can range from $3,500 - $25,000 (plus T&E) including pre-retreat prep.  All retreats include two facilitators. 

Three (3) to four (4) weeks of planning is usually enough, but we can facilitate with less lead-time if necessary.   Planning topics and exercises as well as putting together meeting materials takes time.  Having at least 2-3 weeks also allows us to have staff and elected officials complete a DISC assessment before the retreat.
